CRAFTSMAN Rivet Tool Swivel CMHT82674 Review

I like the collection for rivet shanks. The swivel head is ideal for tight spaces. I use it 2-3 times a week to fix buses while it's working fine.

This pistol has a rotating head which makes it useful in many different situations than a fixed head. Works very well and is holding up well. Good value for money.

Rivet pliers - scrap. Didn't work, badly done. Didn't hold the rivet, the shaft just slipped off. 1 rivet failed to install. I thought I was buying a quality instrument since I'm a master, not like that.

Supplied with 3/16 rivets missing. Won't be buying from Revain again. Otherwise he made a robust and well-built impression. A little big for people with small hands. Just remember.

Bought this shotgun and the spikes on the large rivets didn't break properly. I ended up buying one at a local hardware store that worked correctly. I processed a return today and went through the returns policy for a day. I wouldn't buy this again.

This is a well-made tool, hard work should get me through anyway. The trash thorn catcher is plastic so I'm not sure how long it will last, but it's a nice addition nonetheless. I posted pictures of the tool next to my tape measure because Revain sent me a length question. The manufacturer posted an answer that is 2 inches different than the one I received.

I've installed thousands of rivets and I have to say this is the worst riveting tool I've ever used. Used it for a job that required 14 rivets. Of the 14, 2 were able to set correctly and the remaining 12 broke off high above the surface of the rivet before being tightened. What should have been a quick easy task turned into a frustrating experience. I do not recommend this product.
