This is a very good mouse, especially for the money. It has a knob that changes the DPI scaling, the light doesn't seem too bright to me personally, and the cable wrap is a nice woven material. My only complaint (and why I took the star) was that my cable arrived and it looked like a rodent got caught on the cable housing, leaving me with random thread tensions all over the place. It doesn't seem to affect the mouse in any way, so I'm assuming the internal cable is fine. I also really liked the packaging. All in all I would recommend it to someone I know. UPDATE: 6 months later. The mouse still works for the most part, but the left mouse button tends to double-click on its own. This mouse was on my laptop and was hardly used (mainly turn based games, web surfing and photoshop). It's a really good mouse when new but doesn't seem to hold up well.
