I bought this coffee maker based on mostly positive reviews. But even after spilling clear water several times (as recommended), the coffee still tastes like plastic. The machine itself feels cheap and of poor quality, although it should be made of stainless steel. I would say it's mostly plastic. It looks elegant, but we will buy a more expensive machine because I don't think about sipping every time I drink coffee from this coffee maker. I don't see anywhere that it's BPA free, which I didn't even think of when I bought it.
