This is the second Gevi machine I've tried. Both have serious flaws in the design of the mesh cups. It looks like a mesh, with all the holes for espresso to drain through, but when you actually take it out and look, they don't come through. It's literally stamped on one side. In this way, the coffee is pushed out through a tiny hole. The rest is poured. It wastes so much. Insanely disappointed. I thought it was a manufacturing defect on the first machine so I got this one instead. nope

I LOVE my espresso machine! God my morning shines brighter thanks to it hahaha it's very easy to use and clean. I'm planning a trip and taking it with me lol I have no comparison but this is my first espresso machine and I would say it's just amazing and beginner friendly 😊 Tip for those looking for espresso. learn how to make good coffee with such a machine. I bought this coffee maker based on mostly positive reviews. But even after spilling clear water several times (as recommended), the coffee still tastes like plastic. The machine itself feels cheap and of poor quality, although it should be made of stainless steel. I would say it's mostly plastic. Anyone who wants a real espresso for less than 200 euros has probably already understood. It does not exist. However, this little Gevi does a great job given its price/feature ceiling.
