I looked at almost 2 dozen machines before deciding on Gevi and am very happy with the decision. The machine is easy to use, easy to clean and makes delicious espresso, latte and cappuccino. The filter snaps into place without much effort, but is very secure. I love that the water tray is removable: my previous car had a built-in reservoir that always had to be emptied to avoid oxidation or mineral build-up (although I always use filtered water). which is handy if you use capsules or loose powder. Both Single Shot and Double Shot produced a smooth, thick foam, but I only use loose powder so I can't comment on the quality of the capsules. produce foam. I recommend using a larger frothing pitcher as I originally used a 12oz pitcher and the power of the nozzle made it a bit messy. It's pretty quiet (for an espresso machine). You'll definitely have to wait between brewing the espresso and frothing it (as the instructions suggest) or it'll make a very disconcerting chugging noise. Use it multiple times a day for 2 weeks and it didn't disappoint. Very happy with Gevi!
