Review on Bosch Automotive MicroEdge Wiper Blade 19 Inch - Pack of 1 by Antonio Taveras

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bosch is the only wiper brand I will buy

Bosch MicroEdge wipers are a great choice, especially if you don't see the point in spending the extra money on more expensive versions. Bosch wipers have been around for years, and it's my favorite brand unless they make them for my cars (which is rare). These wipers wrap around the contour of your windshield, allowing them to maintain even pressure across the entire area. Coatings that result in excellent wiping action and removal of almost all liquids from the glass surface. Added to this is the longevity of Bosch blades compared to other brands. I live in several different states (California, Washington, and Arizona) with different environmental conditions that can affect rubber compounds, and I've found that Bosch blades can last over a year (at which point I always swap out my blades), while others the stamps I used have started to peel or fall apart, or my inner sleeves are losing their tension and no longer provide a secure grip on the glass. Yes, there are cheaper brands of wiper blades out there, but as the old saying goes... you get what you pay for. and I'd rather not risk my safety with cheap windshield wipers (which tend to fail) in heavy rain or dust storms. For those who complain about the noise. Stop washing wipers on dry glass! Without lubrication, the wipers make noise. Yes, many of them don't, and that's because they're either cheaply made (don't put enough pressure on the glass) or have some kind of coating (like silicone) that wears off or dries out in a short time. .Bosch doesn't rely on extra tricks like these to make their brushes work well, but on quality construction and materials. Over the past 20 years I have used Bosch wipers on a variety of vehicle models including BMW, Land Rover, Toyota, Ford and VW. If you have an older car with bad wipers, check the wiper arms on your car. They may have reached the end of their useful life so the problems you are having may not be related to the wiper blade.
