This is my first massage gun. Over the years I've used something similar, but not so powerfully, and now it's dangerous to use - severe overheating. (Wish it was at least 30 years old!) These new high-performance percussion massagers seem like the next best thing to real human hand massage. Daughter says her chiropractor uses one. Anyway I thought it might be an interesting experience and useful. First I had a problem, I figured it out. I realized that it needed charging, then I was able to turn it on with a rubber switch, but after that - nothing. Postponed it for a few days (annoying), and this morning it finally worked! I finally found out what the problem is. It took a "light touch," not something I poked at her! I'm bad at touch screens! Well I have used it and it has helped a lot with my stiff neck/shoulders and lower back/thighs. I wish the guide was more detailed, especially for beginners. The machine itself is heavy so it was a little uncomfortable for my old hands to hold it for very long and some kind of non-slip sleeve on the handle could be used to prevent it from slipping out of my hand. All in all, a good machine for relieving tight, tight muscle tension. I've only tried 3 out of 6 heads so far. Trying to use this alone is a bit tricky for head positioning, but here we are (spouse not interested). 4 stars because there is little information in the instructions and it is difficult.
