Excellent for parts

Not quite sure what rating to give. I love the design and that's exactly what I wanted for my unlit fountain. The unit was DOA and after testing I found that the bulb was defective. There are no instructions included with the kit, but I saw that the lamp socket can be removed by twisting it. I installed a new 10W 12V lightbulb and everything was fine. After 1 day under water the gasket must have leaked, the block filled with water and the transformer burned out. I dried the underwater part and this time covered it with a transparent sealer. Since the transformer was dead I threw it away and hooked up this light to my low voltage night lighting system. I haven't contacted the manufacturer to be honest, but I'm happy with what I'm keeping. I'm not sure if others will feel the same.
