Review on ๐Ÿ”ญ Celestron AstroMaster Telescope Accessory Set by Hassan Barrera

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice addition to the Celestron Astromaster

The additional lenses definitely enhance the Astromaster experience, giving the user more room for experimentation and viewing pleasure. Suitable for beginners and hobby observers; leaves a lot to be desired for more experienced amateurs. I think I paid a little more for this set than I could with any other time. After reading some less than flattering reviews on some of the pieces, I considered returning it because I wasn't getting good results either. My patience paid off as I waited for clear skies. The 15mm lens is a great addition to the entry-level lens arsenal and I like it more than the 20mm lens that comes standard with the Astromaster. The 6mm lens isn't very good, but I didn't find it terrible either, although the standard 10mm lens is better. The double lens is easy to shit. Are there better? Without a doubt. In my experience, however, this one did its job pretty well, and it's not entirely useless in clear skies. However, I noticed that it didn't fit my scope as shown in the attached diagram, but I eventually found a suitable way to mount it. Color filters are not convincing. The moon filter comes in handy as it reduces the light intensity when viewing a full moon, allowing you to see more detail without being blinded. Blue hasn't done much to improve anything, such as proposing to use it to study the differently colored cloud bands on Jupiter. The red filter isn't worth anyone's time.
