Value for money - accessory for telescopes and microscopes

Value for money. I'm a beginner and wanted a T-ring and a Barlow lens. The red tint of the lens is useless. Moon and blue work well. Two eyecups are a nice addition to the set.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Great telescope eyepieces and microscope accessories

I have used these eyepieces on my inexpensive Gskyer telescope so far and they have performed well. If you want to take pictures with your cell phone, you need a universal adapter; This kit is not sold with one. The picture quality is excellent.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Zero

It's worth it. in telescope and microscope accessories

Affordable and good to start with. Eye relief is excellent at 15mm, 6mm less. The case is convenient for transport and storage, but it would be nice if it had the ability to connect straps. The optics are of good quality. The moon filter makes a big difference when viewing the full moon. Details can be seen much more easily and the eyes are less strained by the brightness.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great addition to AstroMaster 130

I bought this set to have a few more lenses, barlows and filters. After a few nights of use, I found that the filters aren't really like that. Excellent. They look like cheap plastic wrap. The moon filter is useful for reducing glare from the moon. The lenses work as they should and the Barlow seems to work well too. My main complaint is the filters. And the box does not close.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • boring packaging

Normal kit for the money, it wasn't possible to test the red or blue filters, the moon filter has an unflattering green tint, like others report here. A NOTICE. The instructions that came with my kit showed an image of a 2x dual lens mounted BETWEEN the tube and the rectangular piece of "Erect Image optics" that comes with the telescope. That is not right. and didn't understand why until I found a production video on Youtube showing a 2x doubling lens to be installed between the eyepiece and…

What a bang for the buck!

So my wife wanted something for Tele as a Christmas present. She has a Celestron AstroMaster EQ telescope and a Nikon D7000 camera. I bought her a t-ring and considered buying a t-adapter with a universal barlow adapter - 1.25" which is a t-adapter with a barlow lens (essentially a 2x lens). It cost me $44 while I could get this kit for $39.85 It includes a T-adapter with a 2x lens which I assume is the same as a Barlow lens, 2 extra lenses and 3 Filters at a lower price I would have been…

Celestron set arrived 4 days before ETA

Looks good, good construction I haven't tested it yet I have a Celestron Scope C-90 and I'm also waiting for the arrival of the Celestron CPC 800 telescope for a T -Ring adapter to use in my Canon cameras, once I have everything I need I will be testing these lenses and filters. I took fantastic pictures of the moon with my C-90 by pointing my camera through the eyepiece. I do not recommend this type of recording because it is very difficult. That's why I ordered the T-ring! This Celestron…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Functionality

For my first rating I give 4 stars, but that can change after several views: 114 eq, 20 mm). I really liked the relief on it and the detail was much better. 6mm is a bit weaker, not because of the quality, but because of the relief. Quality I haven't been able to appreciate yet. Barlow x2 is good, and with Barlow x3 it makes the 4 I have (20mm, 15mm, 6mm, 4mm) much bigger. I haven't measured 15mm with x2 and x3 yet, but this combination can close the gap between 15mm and 6mm eyepieces. Filters…

Nice addition to the Celestron Astromaster

The additional lenses definitely enhance the Astromaster experience, giving the user more room for experimentation and viewing pleasure. Suitable for beginners and hobby observers; leaves a lot to be desired for more experienced amateurs. I think I paid a little more for this set than I could with any other time. After reading some less than flattering reviews on some of the pieces, I considered returning it because I wasn't getting good results either. My patience paid off as I waited for…
