GREAT fit and look
Velcro? Yes. It's great and doesn't look like children's shoes. Velcro is not the focus of this shoe. We bought a size 2 on a whim to see if it would fit my son's wide foot. Oh so perfect. They are great and I recommend them to anyone looking for a lightweight shoe for an active kid.
