My 2021 Subaru Forrester has a cigarette lighter socket in the center console. It is very convenient to free up the space around the switch and connect your phone to this lighter USB converter. HOWEVER (and this may be a bug, NOT the converter) the slightest wiggle on the cable breaks the connection. It seems to me that the spring loaded parts that press against the side of the socket (the bottom) are either not pressing hard enough or are too slippery. ON THE POSITIVE SIDE: Because the converter lights up when the connection is good, it's easy to check by simply lifting the cover on the console. Otherwise I would rate it FIVE STARS.
