I bought this chair because I needed a higher chair. I knew I had to pick it up when it arrived; but I was expecting it to come with assembly instructions for the actual product I received. Included were instructions for a different model chair. I tried my best but it didn't work. I asked them to send the correct instructions but they sent another copy of the same which was in the box. The back of the chair continued to rock back and forth. There was no way to customize it. I told them the guarantee said I had to be completely satisfied or I would get my money back. So I told them again that I wasn't happy. They then sent a three-page email with 27 steps to put it together, including some off-label modifications. They then accused me of being a buyer's regret because I didn't like their crappy product! I told them I had no interest in a jury rigged product. They refused to refund my money. I had to get Revane to intervene on my behalf. The seller is called FURNITURE CREW. Avoid them like the plague! In the end they said they would only take it back if I completely disassemble it and put it back in the same box it was sent to me in. That sounds easier than it really is. When you slide the parts of the chair shaft together, they are designed in such a way that they are not easy to take apart (I think for safety reasons). I told them in our email exchange that I'm not physically strong enough to take it apart; but they said it has to be totally separate to get my refund. So I had to hire a handyman to take it apart. Once that was done I contacted the furniture brigade again to say they are now fully relieved so they are finally sending me the return authorization forms NOW. I waited a few days before they emailed me saying they calculated shipping would cost them more than the chair; So I was ordered to donate the chair or throw it away! Remember I had to pay someone to take it apart.
