The difference in quality between this brand and others is day and night in my opinion. The cable is strong, durable, and feels like it can take some flex and shock. I used to replace the 50ft Cat5e cable I had for the router with a 1GB data rate because the connection to the router kept dropping. This new cord snaps into place and firmly in place. My old cable seemed thinner and cheaper, so I know the wires inside were most likely affected by cable bends. I ran a speed test and the download and upload speeds were faster and much more consistent with this cable. It's also under $10. You can't defeat him. happy with this cable
