Great cable for the money. Take it!

I have an ethernet connection all over the house and I'm tired of making my own connections. From what I understand it was about the same price to get them in different lengths and save me a headache. It's solid construction and true CAT6. Take her!

Excellent Cat6 Cable - Ethernet Cable

The difference in quality between this brand and others is day and night in my opinion. The cable is strong, durable, and feels like it can take some flex and shock. I used to replace the 50ft Cat5e cable I had for the router with a 1GB data rate because the connection to the router kept dropping. This new cord snaps into place and firmly in place. My old cable seemed thinner and cheaper, so I know the wires inside were most likely affected by cable bends. I ran a speed test and the download…

Good quality and does its job well.

I installed this to wrap around the outside edge of my office and then hang around the back of my desk. No other cable I've had was long enough, but this one is perfect. The connections fit perfectly. The color is bright, the wire is thick and well made. No complaints. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

My expectations were met (and exceeded)

I have purchased several Ethernet cables online over the years, but after purchasing my first Tripp Lite I have never purchased any other brand other than Tripp Lite. The quality is consistent and I could always count on getting exactly what I expected. In this particular case, I needed a white cable running down the stairwell baseboards from the downstairs router to a second router extending my wireless network on the second floor. The Tripp Lite cable didn't twist or kink as I manipulated it…

  • Brilliantly made

High speed for computers and accessories

I've had my Cat6 cable for over a month now and it's working great. I often work from home and needed the fastest possible speed. At the same time that I was installing this cable, Xfinity was replacing the modem with a new one that can run at much faster speeds. I get 570 Mbps download and 17.8 Mbps upload 50 feet from the modem. Not just because of the cable, but it's nice to know that the cable is capable of such speeds. I hope this is helpful as you consider this product.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Quality

The Gigabit speed and range I needed at a reasonable price

I needed to extend my cable connection from my main modem to my office, this product has enough range and still offers gigabit speeds, that allow me to get the speed I pay for. Good quality. It's been a few weeks now and no problems.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • I don't remember

First of all, I didn't rate "stretchy" even though this feature was rated 5 stars. It's a CAT6 cable, it shouldn't "stretch" as it's not jeans! That being said and back to my reason for the review. The color shown online does NOT match the color this cable comes in. I still give it a 5 star rating because it's a great cable, well built and I love the no hook ribs that are molded into the shoe. My problem is that I bought this cable to best match the wall in my living room which is an aqua hue…

This is a Tripp Lite but the design could be better

There are four of these 20ft Red Green White Yellow. The red is more like ocher, if that matters to you. They work, but to be honest, whatever version I buy, this "gapless" design sucks. This one is exactly the same as the one in the picture, although the "hookless" idea is supposed to protect the plastic connector but not override it. This allows your fingers to TOUCH the long "finger" in the clicker part. It's good if your fingers are small enough. This is an improvement over the typical…

Great quality and great price

I have tried many network cables over the years and Tripp Lite Cat6 is my favorite. For me it comes down to the following characteristics: 1. Connector - Tripp Lite has an overmolded connector which means that the individual conductors are terminated in the connector and then the plastic of the cable is overmolded around each individual wire. This makes the connector very strong and almost impossible to pull out a wire or break a single pin. Metal body connectors are good, but they're a lot…
