I've been using Arctic Silver since the 90's. This is without a doubt the best thermal paste. It doesn't take much. Over the years I have been able to lower the temperature by several degrees on many types of devices. If your processor or even your graphics card doesn't cool well, replacing the cheap paste with arctic silver can help. This may not always result in a significant drop in temperature if the other paste was decent and applied well. However, you will notice a difference in how much more heat resistant your system is due to better surface contact. This could mean a bit more clock headroom etc. It's important to know that the paste helps, not hinders, thermal contact. Arctic Silver has been tested and used worldwide for many years. I'm sure there are others out there that have similar specs, but I always knew I could count on Arctic Silver for temperature control.
