This is a gift. My niece liked it. It was very soft and warm. She liked mine (Slanket) when she visited so I chose that option. Let me solve the "it doesn't completely envelop the body" problem. Neither does my slanket. If you want it to be completely form-fitting, buy a thick, fluffy adult onesie—they're there, but you've got to get the guy to actually wear them. You look like a kid who has to be in bed by 7 p.m. It's supposed to lie on your body like a blanket while you're watching TV and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Do the sleeves fall off? Tucking corners behind the back - problem solved. Or sew some "strings" on it and tie it. (BTDT hated it!) What my niece liked about it was that she wasn't limited to a "leg pocket" (like my blanket) but could actually cross her legs and keep her legs warm. She went everywhere with him, yet there was enough extra "blanket" to wrap her tiny body. The stitching was strong and didn't seem to unravel. It was like a cloud wrapping around her and she kept rubbing her face against it. Of course, this (adult) version suits her very well. I wish they had a kids version with more color options. (e.g. dyed tie-dye, patterned prints, etc.). It came closest to turquoise. All in all a fun gift for someone who loves to cuddle and read/watch TV. I will keep that in mind and buy them for future gifts. :)
