Nice with software "laser "

I am not a fan of lasers generally when doing presentations, and this remote doesn't have lasers. It does however have magnifier, red dot and spotlight in software instead. The software you need is neatly accessible from the usb dongle and works well together with Windows 10.The next slide button is a bit larger that all the other buttons which is a nice touch. The timer is hidden (you won't even notice it) until you press the "show timer button", with out that the timer would be annoying but they

Cons
  • Works like a mouse but is not that easy to point with it. Sometimes it doesn't work.

Not really ready for prime time

This unit sort of works, but is very quirky. The "magnifying" function is problematic. And then properly positioning the magnifier on the slide after it comes up is not particularly fast or easy. It does the functions of a mouse click pretty well, but the pointer function needs a lot of work.

Pros
  • The built-in USB receiver ensures a stable and reliable connection between the presenter and the device, without any lag or delays.
Cons
  • Magnifier function can distort text or images

Beware - does NOT have 3 year warranty as advertised and fails quickly. I initially loved the capacities of this clicker (even though the needed software and device are not very user friendly). The problem was that I barely used it for a couple of conferences and the next time I wanted to use it for my regular classes it was dead and the device is failing to charge. I already tried several cables and charging modes (connected to a pc, directly to the wall with a cube, etc.). I bought this…

Pros
  • The DinoFire Wireless Presenter is an incredibly versatile tool that helps make PowerPoint presentations more engaging and dynamic.
Cons
  • Can be prone to disconnecting during use

No magnification: my feedback

I used this presenter with my MacBook and it worked. But, unfortunately, the "lamp magnify" did not magnify as suggested by the description and photos. It is simply a pointer light. Perhaps I was sent an older version of this item as the packaging did not say "magnifer." It was too late to inquire for my presentation.

Pros
  • Office Products
Cons
  • Compatibility issues with some projectors

Well worth it! Great features!

I bought this for our Pastor to use in church. It is AMAZING! It has so many more features than a typical pointer. He was impressed that it integrated with our church software. Installation is fast and easy!Great purchase!

Pros
  • It comes with a soft carrying case to protect it during transit and storage.
Cons
  • Air mouse feature can be prone to accidental clicks

Very inconsistent; good customer service

UPDATE: The company contacted me and offered to replace the item or give me a refund. Since I had already bought a different presentation remote, I asked for a refund and it was given to me right away. It may have just been a faulty item I received but I appreciated how they wanted to make things right for me.I bought this for use in the classroom but most days the remote did not work at all. I liked the size and weight of the remote but that's about it. The USB receiver easily overheats and…

Pros
  • The laser pointer feature helps draw attention to important points and highlights key information.
Cons
  • Highlighter function can be difficult to erase

Excellent service for my opinion

I purchased the presenter to be used with my MacBook air. It worked great until the recent update to MacOS Catalina. Once I noticed that the presenter was not working with the new OS, I contacted customer support and they provided a full refund very quickly.

Pros
  • The straightforward design and user-friendly interface require no special technical knowledge, making it accessible to all.
Cons
  • Magnifier feature can be slow to respond to user input

Not the best by far

I am a high school teacher and I use power points every day. I was looking for a presenter that I could use with the SMART boards in our classrooms. This product says it has a "spotlight” feature as opposed to a laser pointer. However, the spotlight rarely functions properly. You love your pointer in one direction but the spotlight goes somewhere else. Also, there is this safety feature where an annoying voice reminder will tell you not to forget the presenters usb dongle if you leave it in…

Pros
  • Presentation Products
Cons
  • Cursor can be difficult to control during presentations

A cheap alternative to the Logitech spotlight

Good idea but not as good as the Logitech (three times the cost, though). For a cheap presenter it's ok, but I found it lagged to the point it was distracting during presenting.

Pros
  • Office Electronics
Cons
  • Not compatible with Mac computers

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Don’t buy this! good for me

Horrible save your money but the Logitech.Poor quality and it doesn’t even point correctly. I was super disappointed!

Pros
  • There’s a need to familiarize oneself with the buttons.. once you get used it them it’ll be easy...
Cons
  • Air mouse functionality can be sensitive

Not Laser quality yet

If you are looking for a laser pointer experience, this is not quite it. If uses more of a spotlight on the screen and is not a "fine line" that you would expect from a Laser pointer. If does function as an input device. if you need to use as a laser pointer for LED/LCD screens, I have not been able to find a solution for that experience.

Pros
  • With its advanced features and ease of use, the DinoFire Presenter is a must-have for anyone who wants to deliver powerful and impactful presentations
Cons
  • Air mouse feature can be difficult to calibrate for different environments

Good product. in my review

The product is light. I am a little bit apprehensive with the casing built. It seems to be of easily breakable thin plastic. I was expecting something sturdier. As for the functions, it was as claimed. It may take some time to figure it out as the instructions are too succinct. But once you get a hang of it, operation will be a breeze. The item is at half price compared to the known brand with similar functions.

Pros
  • It's compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Android, so users can easily connect it to their devices and get started right away.
Cons
  • Highlighter function can be too bright or distracting

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light ,recommend best in my review

It worked fine for PowerPoint, since I use PowerPoint is a great product. I liked the instructions they came with a lot of details

Pros
  • The air mouse function lets users control the cursor and navigate slides with ease and precision.
Cons
  • Cursor can be slow to respond to user input

Reciever too big best in my review

As a stagehand who has worked with thousands of presenters, large laptops pretty much fill the lectern real estate. Considering that there are audio, video, and power connections (and sometimes an e-net), having a long receiver sticking out the side of the laptop is always a problem. I always prefer the "clickers", as we call them, to be as small as possible.

Pros
  • WHAT YOU GET
Cons
  • Requires software installation for full functionality

Revainrating 1 out of 5

don't waste your money

specifically bought this because it stated there was no software to install, but there is software which must be running on the machine before this will connect to the system. The USB dongle reached a temperature that made it almost too hot to touch, when plugged into my machine for only a few minutes. Also, it's not a laser pointer, its a colored dot which is quite a bit larger than a standard pointer, so that it is a distracting element instead of a tool to help point out something on a slide…

Pros
  • DIGITAL DOT REMOTE - WORK ON LED/LCD SCREENS
Cons
  • Can be difficult to calibrate magnifier feature

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Windows 10 on my review.

This unit works fine on Windows 10. Plug in the dongle and install the software. Been using it for a month as a pointer and it is working fine.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Difficult to click buttons

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not as durable as hoped

This is a follow up to my original review. It was working well.functionality was good but the charging port where you plug the cord into was weak. Eventually it shifted or failed in some way making it impossible to charge. The cord would only go in part way. It lasted about 10 months. It was not abused or handled in a rough way but after several chargings the receiver just wore out and would no longer accept the cord.

Pros
  • With a range of up to 98 feet, users can move freely around the room and interact with the presentation from a distance.
Cons
  • Cursor can be difficult to see on some screens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Gets Attention - my new review

Just what I was after. A nice change from the red spot on the screen. Easy to use, highlights the screen nicely. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • The DinoFire Presenter is an affordable option for those who want to enhance their presentations without breaking the bank.
Cons
  • Cursor can be difficult to control when moving quickly
