Review on Braun MultiServe Coffee Machine: 7 Programmable Brew Sizes, 3 Strengths, Iced Coffee, and Hot Water for Tea – Glass Carafe (10-Cup), Stainless/Black, KF9150BK by Justin Pavelko

EDIT: (1 star → 4 stars) Braun gave a guarantee on a defective coffee machine, the new one works much better. The coffee drip hole and anti-drip mechanism have been redesigned and work as expected. I owned this coffee maker for 7 months before writing this review. The coffee spilling over my counter more and more prompted me to share my experience and warn people before they spend $200. Pros: - coffee tastes great - easy to adjust coffee/hot water amount - container well designed and very easy to use - I like that the container has a built in filter Annoying: - water collects in the carafe handle when cleaning and drips on it the table water tastes terrible , to me it tastes like plastic, to me it tastes SO/smells like bleach. I've run lots of water through the hot water mode to get rid of the taste, I've also tried a mixture of vinegar and water with no improvement. Corrosion (see picture). This is probably due to a malfunctioning "drip stop" system. The screen shows the temperature of the hot water before it leaves the spout, meaning the water has time to cool (about 30°F in my case) before entering your cup. .Prohibited: Coffee flows through the drip hole of the basket and does not fully enter the pot or cup. This results in the coffee spilling all over the place. Check out the attached videos that demonstrate this design flaw. Also note the image of the coffee filter in the correct position when this error occurs. I've tried drying, cleaning, and adjusting the eliminator to fix the problem, but none of these methods have worked. This problem has completely destroyed my confidence in this coffee maker, I have to look at it every time I make coffee so I can stop it when this error occurs. The first time this happened 5 months after I bought the coffee maker so I couldn't return it. I hope Braun CS can help, but for now, be careful with the reliability of this coffee maker.
