I wish I had bought this earlier! Works great and easy to use on my 2001 and 2002 vehicles. Based on an auto parts store scan for the check engine light I figured I would have to make expensive repairs to get rid of the emissions. I just cleared the codes with this scanner and the codes didn't come back and the car's emissions are gone. This scanner also identified a legitimate code on another car, allowing me to replace the part and remove the check engine light. The instruction manual explains everything. Detects codes, clears codes and indicates when the vehicle is ready to pass the emissions test.
