I returned this item. It has no USB port for upgrading. On the website is a page for the upgrade or so it tries to convinceingly convey a upgrade file. It does not matter if there was an upgrade file the device does not have any means to upgrade. Upgrade file on website a fraud, device having an USB port a fraud.

Able to see codes. I believe even able to clear codes if I'm not mistaken. Mine came with the Mucar Dianostic Tester I bought. It worked well.

We just bought a car for our granddaughter and as soon as we got it home the check engine light came on. This little scanner told us exactly what the problem was as soon as we hooked it up to the car. Saved us a $45 diagnostic charge. This scanner is great. It also gives the definition for the diagnostic codes.

This was a decent scanner for the price paid. It worked was, for many makes and models, and was accurate. But, the screen was extremely small which made it hard to read. That was the only flaw I found.

Price is reasonable but would not entertain plugging a diagnostic tool, into a valuable vehicle, that cannot even have the correct spelling for Dodge (Doge) and Lincoln (Lincoin?). Need to be ale to pass quality control checks before introducing onto the market.

does what most entry level readers do, but this is about the most affordable. Download of initial data a bit slow, but the functions after that are fine.
