I had lots of issues with this at first, but there are several things to consider:a. The light on most BT devices will blink rapidly when in pairing mode. This one does not. The blue and green lights will cycle once when you first plug it in and that's it. So looking at the light to know if something is happening will throw you off. This thing is pretty awesome. I bought it initially so I could change the tire size in the Jeeps computer. Worked great but remember to actually measure your tires instead of going off the nominal size. I was able to change my speedometer from being about 8MPH off, to spot on using Waze as a reference. If you are buying this you are more than likely wanting to do more than read simple codes. If that’s the case you will have to pay to use the app for each vin number. Can get rather pricey.

Original bought a superchips flashpaq for $220 to reprogram my jeep for bigger tires and regear. Luckily it would never link. Returned it and downloaded Jscan and used this I car Bluetooth adaptor. Simple to use and this with the app together was only $53. Very happy.

It worked as should. Connected my iPhone 13 pro to it using JScan for my Jeep. Looking into other code reading apps for my wife’s ‘17 Acadia just in case I need it.

The bluetooth low energy (BLE) 4.x doesn't seem to wake up under android (shows up as "Android-Vlink" in settings upon FIRST insertion of the Vgate iCar Pro dongle into the vehicle OBD2 port and works fine the FIRST time).Palmer Dashcommand can't even find the Vgate Pro when set for bluetooth LE (must use standard bluetooth settings for "Android-Vlink" to connect and then it works perfectly but only the FIRST connection). Made spare keys for both the Rubicon and the Liberty. Both were easy to do and work great. You will have to buy the license in the app to program keys but well worth it. Dealerships charge over $400 to make a key. I made spares for both cars and i am only into it for about $100 total.

This little gadget, used along with the OBD JScan app, allowed me to enable the backup camera feature in my 2014 Dodge Challenger. Now when placing my Challenger in reverse, the backup camera I installed shows the video on the used Dodge RHR touchscreen radio I installed to replace the original knob job radio that came in it. After trying out a half dozen apps, the only one that worked without paying was Car Scanner ELM OBD2.I used the Bluetooth OBD on iOS for my 2019 Hyundai Ioniq and 2008 Toyota Prius hybrid, both vehicles my old OBD would not work on.The OBD worked great once I found the right app and figured it out.

Great little device. Works well with Bimmer Code. I did have a little problem pair device to my Samsung Z flip phone but it paired on the second try.

I have a Snap On code reader, its more than I need most of the time. So I did not buy this for reading codes, I bought this to use Bimmer-Code and BimmerLink apps on my phone to access the ECU and rewrite certain values that I can not bear to have active. There are many options one can change buy using these apps. You require a bluetooth device to connect through your OBDII port and this ICAR PRO BLE 4.0 works perfectly and if you want to read codes or clear them you can use other apps for that

Works fine but requires a subscription to even clear codes. Buying another reader which doesn’t require a subscription for any features.

Easy to use and set up after I got the extention wires on my Jeep Gladiator. I haven't had an problems and it seems to be not effecting anything else with the system.

Sent for this when my 20 year old Saab was tempramental. I have since used it on three different cars. From my reading, not all these devices play nicely with iPhone. This was has been flawless.

It connected via bluetooth to the OBD Auto Doctor app on my Android phone. It gave me my error codes. It has a lot of extras that a car fanatic would love, but you have to pay for it through the app.
