If you are dealing with crazy hair loss due to an inactive thyroid gland - or whatever - this is the perfect hair brush. I searched hard for a brush for thinning hair and discovered this one. It's perfect for my needs right now. The bristles are slightly flexible but appropriately firm. There are not as many bristles as you find on regular hairbrushes, so when you brush, there isn't the usual pulling on your scalp as you're accustomed to, which is exactly what I need. Also, because there are less bristles that are spaced further from each other than regular brushes, this brush is so much easier to clean. I'm very happy with the quality of this brush, its ease of use and cleaning, and its sturdy but lightweight qualities.
