So, although I've had a beard for decades, I've been clean-shaven for about 20 years. When I tried to grow a beard again a few years ago, the itching and painful prickliness — my mustache pierced and sometimes even snapped and stuck like cactus needles in my fingers when I stroked them — left me after just a few weeks away . But recently I was reading about beard care products and decided to try my luck with a mustache again, but this time armed with beard shampoo, beard oil and a beard comb. Wow what a huge change these products have made. It's been almost 4 weeks now and the itching has decreased a lot, my mustache is much softer and looks like a real beard much sooner than before. I know the oil played a big part in this and also gives a nice shine without looking or feeling greasy. I also appreciate that it's odorless as it doesn't interfere with the aftershave I still use on my cheeks and neck that I still shave. I just apply a few drops after my morning shave, wait 5-10 minutes and then brush my beard well with a beard comb and you're done!
