That's what I said a few weeks ago when I first heard about wireless mini keyboards. I couldn't see why I would need this as I don't have a smart TV and my wired mouse worked fine with my PC or laptop. That was until I got elbow pain from overusing the mouse. The pain was making the whole arm weak and I knew I had to make some changes. A mini keyboard came to mind and I ordered this one, which seemed to have larger keys and a better trackpad location than some others. Doesn't light up, but I didn't need it. I wanted it to work like a mouse on the web so I could give my hand a rest, and so far it has achieved that goal. Installation was easy. Just plug the dongle into your computer and it will do the rest. The keyboard will be recognized immediately. Its battery life is really good. I only charged once when I took it out of the box. It turns off if you don't use it for a while, which saves battery life. Tracking is really good - not too sensitive or sluggish, keys are crisp and have a nice feel. There was a bit of a learning curve, but not as much as expected. I love this shop! What a great idea!
