hi i have them first washed (inside out) on gentle cycle and rinsed twice then hung to dry (not dry) However I didn't try them on before washing so what about shrinkage I bought (XL) which is my size is 6ft - 230lbs - waist 36, inseam 33) (and as far as I know the inseam is fine, I even guess I have 1-2 feet to play with after washing). . My first impression is really soft (easy to put on and take off). They didn't keep me warm but did keep me warm/didn't sweat and were very comfortable (no kidding) and they moved with me so well they were a pleasure to wear. (I bought the top too). By that I mean that after wearing normal (cotton) thermal underwear, it loses its shape after a while and starts to sag / stick together. Not so with these, they've held their shape (and I've slept in them) and are still nice in the morning. (Black shows everything) So be careful what you do. They are light but comfortable and comfortable, not hot but comfortable. The butt, when you pull her up, she squeezes your butt, in other words, she doesn't have a high waist. And the bodice is a little longer than usual which is nice because it can be tucked in and you won't see a tear at the seam. And they dried overnight and hung them up. As far as my body could fit, they weren't tight or loose, just right. (I keep them). Hope that helps. Many Thanks.
