Have fun. An adult should always supervise although it was very safe. The lower part that hangs in the basin can leak, so make sure you have a patch. (Leaks appear at the seams between the 4 baffles.) But otherwise everything is very reliable. Make sure you have an electric inflation pump. The kids are totally crazy about him. For extra speed, I spray some diluted bath soap on the slide. It's 5 stars but the leaks in the front cushion make it a 4. Still at a hundred dollars it was cheap compared to the fun 7 grandkids were having. After use I leave it in place and deflate the 3 main sections. I avoid dragging it with me to avoid punctures. 10 applications so far, about 15 hours, everything is fine.
