I was dying to have this when I bought it on Wednesday. My elderly mother, who has just completed a two week hospital stay, has now fully recovered but is weak so she is in a rehabilitation center to regain her strength. I cannot stay with her like in a hospital and she feels confused and isolated as I am her only caregiver. She has a cell phone that she uses to call me anytime, but she has problems. with a touch screen so I was excited to see this as I thought it would solve everything but now I'm just heartbroken. The item DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! The indicator light didn't work and the person who called me said I sounded like I was in a canyon and all they heard was STATIC. I asked for a replacement hoping the one I got was just broken! Sequel follows.
