Review on VA2759-SMH ViewSonic Frameless Monitor, 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Anti Glare, IPS, LCD, HD by Matt Forbis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent form factor and image quality. Terrible OSD control design!

If you want a lightweight display with VESA mounting, this is the perfect display. This is one of the lightest 24 inch monitors with VESA mount. I use two of these displays with two one-armed monitor stands from Amazon Basics on a standing desk without hesitation. I have upgraded to this display from several 19" Lenovo Thinkvision displays. As far as I can tell, this is a big step up in terms of quality and viewing area. Cons: The OSD controls are among the most unintuitive controls ever made. The buttons are 5 identical buttons located below the display with small black icons that are unreadable in the dark. The power button is one of those five buttons. So when you're calibrating a display or setting it up to match another display, you'll inevitably take your fingers off the buttons and have to turn on the light to figure out where to put your fingers. again. This will also keep you pressing the power button in the event of an accident. If you never use the display settings, you'll never notice it or run into a problem, but many of the monitor's features, such as B. Overdrive to improve response time and a blue light filter (half the reason to buy) are hidden in a maze of menus.
