These key fobs are probably excellent value if you need new electronics, but I returned mine and bought new buttons/housings for my original electronic boards. Here's the story. I bought a pair for my 2011 Malibu but after receiving them I found I couldn't program myself to work with my car. I noticed that the seller said they would have to be programmed by the dealer or auto mechanic, but figured I could do it myself since I saw this video on U-Tube showing how to build your own Malibu -Can program remote control - not like that! I contacted two dealers/locksmiths and they offered me $250 to program some remotes.
