Review on Custom Fit 1st Row Floor Mats Set - Black - for 2017-2020 Ford Fusion & Lincoln MKZ - SMARTLINER by Steven Murray

I have previously purchased Smart Liner floor mats for a 2021 Kia Telluride and have been generally happy with them for the price. I just received another kit for a 2017 Ford Fusion. Installed in the evening when I got home from work. I was very surprised when I drove to work in the morning that the dull shape under the gas pedal did not allow me to depress the pedal more than halfway. I REALLY attached the mat to the factory buttons. Luckily I have a knife in my car and was able to cut this part of the carpet so that I can press the gas pedal normally. It's not very safe considering my Fusion is a hybrid and is pretty slow in the first place so I need all the pedal travel I can get. Very disappointed for the price. If I had to cut the floor mat to size I would only spend $30 and get an all purpose mat instead of the $80 they cost.
