Best anchor your anchor in sport
I was taking my anchor to drop in the lake and I heard a sudden splash. Upon inspection I found that the previous shackle had come loose and fallen off, luckily before the anchor hit the water! This nut and cotter pin shackle is much more secure - even if the bolt loosens (like my previous shackle) the cotter pin provides extra security and safety.
