I prefer loose tea over tea bags for flexibility. It is great. I use small or medium for a cup of tea, large for a small teapot. Sometimes when I want a more intense flavor I put some pumpkin pie spice in a small bag and add it to the pot. Filtered chopped mint which I added to a serving of iced tea (I found the floating bits of green embarrassing) and they are potent enough to use for a cup of tea and then tossed into an everlasting pitcher of iced tea to make it stronger . The drawstring means I don't have to have a small stapler handy to make sure they're closed. I am very glad that I switched brands of tea bag filters.
