I wasn't expecting much for the price and that's what I got, but I just wanted to use them as quick slippers (lounge shoes). Something you can quickly slip on and off to take out the trash or check my mail at my apartment. Because I was sore from bad shoes or shoes that weren't wide enough, I used a pair of gel restorative and arch support insoles ($10 at Walley World in the shoe section, not the $50+ Dr. "Too D*" ** Expensive") ones ;) ). They should last a year or two and do exactly what I bought them to do. I can recommend them if you are looking for a similar purpose. As a casual shoe, I can't recommend these: (Nike Flex Experience Run 8 men's running shoes 1st and this one 2nd, PUMA Tazon 6 Fracture FM elliptical cross trainer shoe men's running shoes.) I bought them all.
