Danco vs. Westbrass in the bathroom
My old one broke and had a plastic screw in the middle. When I was looking for a replacement I wanted something with a metal screw, either stainless steel or brass. Ordered both Danco and Westbrass to compare. Danco has 2 brass tips and fits both screw sizes. In addition, it has 2 rubber pads of different sizes. At the same time, Westbrass has a solid brass screw, and the quality of the parts is much better. If you know what thread size you have 5/16 or 3/8 I recommend Westbrass over Danco if you want quality that will last longer.
