I'm picky when it comes to bags, but this one has it all. Take a smaller bag. The front welt pocket is just the right size for my iPhone SE with limited space (this pocket doesn't fit a larger phone). I put half a dozen key fobs in the main front pocket and it handles them well. There is one welt pocket on the back and one on the back on the inside. Inside the front are two open pockets large enough for a checkbook or wallet. The main compartment is big enough for a book. The main compartment has another zippered divider pocket, ideal for things like lip balm and hair ties. And since it's a divider, there's another space for paper or other items that's separate from the main compartment. The only thing I didn't understand was the two elastic pockets on the sides. They're not big enough for a water bottle, more like a granola bar. This bag is lightweight, durable and easy to clean. The best purchase I've made in a long time.
