Great all-round Chromebook for school

My first impression upon unboxing this Chromebook was that it's hard to tell it's a refurbished product. The box is obviously quite a sell out, but the computer itself works and looks like a fresh product. It's fairly light but still feels solid enough. It's very easy to switch to tablet mode and back to laptop mode. It's also incredibly quick to set up since I have an Android phone that syncs to it after logging in. The Chromebook itself runs pretty smoothly and the touchscreen works very well. This is an important factor for me as I am an artist and a student; I like taking digital notes. A few things you might want to consider: This particular model (14b) supports a USI pen, but I believe that currently only the rechargeable USI pen for around $50 that you can buy directly from the HP Store is compatible . Of course, you can try and buy a cheap passive stylus from the Amazon store like I originally did, but none are suitable for people like me who rely heavily on them. I haven't tried the HP Stylus yet, so I can't say if it's the best option. Just be vigilant when looking for a pen - that's all I suggest. If you tend to drop things and want a protective case for that Chromebook, that limits the tablet functionality. At a certain angle, your Chromebook will automatically switch to tablet mode. You can stand and tilt it as you like. However, if you want to place it on a flat surface for a real tablet, the protective cover gets in the way. This model doesn't have an HDMI slot, but you can get a USB-C to HDMI converter pretty cheap. It doesn't interfere with charging either, as there are two USB-C ports on each side of the Chromebook. Overall this is a great product and I would highly recommend it for students, workers or people who are not very tech savvy as it is easy to set up and navigate.
