UPDATE: The seller contacted me and sent me a new thermometer to replace the broken one. The new one works perfectly. Thank you to the seller for doing everything right and sending an item that works as it should. I appreciate great customer service! Original post: I don't know if the battery is dead or if the device itself is defective, but one of them doesn't work at all. Batteries were pre-installed and came with a working one. I thought I had saved some money by going for these instead of the ones I bought earlier. But it looks like I'll spend twice as much to replace the faulty one (not sure if the return process is worth the price).
