I really like this thermo-hygrometer. It's easy to read, sticks, and won't die the first time it accidentally hits water. They are in all our reptile aquariums.

This thermometer 1. is not waterproof so cannot be used in an aquarium, and 2. it only measures Celsius, not Fahrenheit.

We have a shielded cage so I can't talk to the suction cup. But there was some tape that I thought would hold up just fine. It kept falling after about 30 minutes. But it is okay.

I use this digital thermometer in a rare plant terrarium. It is accurate, easy to read and detachable. It's small enough to fit in a corner without being the center of attention. Exactly what I was looking for.

I like large screens that are easy to read. It is durable, which is unusual for small tech products. The problem is that the temperature is not accurate. I really needed precision in my incubator. I may be trending with him, but I'm not even sure.

I'm just not happy with this thermometer. It went straight in the trash. On the second day after the installation it stopped working. Also changed the battery. I chose another thermometer that I knew would continue to work. Unfortunately waste of money. And I never write bad reviews because I've never had to complain about anything.

Update: The seller was quick to offer me a replacement or refund. I already exchanged it, so I accepted the return. moisture out. I got this in a small vivarium for a baby anole (found in a conservatory in Chicago!). Humidity seems far away. I put my more reliable hygrometer there and the readings are very variable.

Performance is good enough to give a general rough idea, but we found the humidity readings often varied from 5% to an almost amazing 15%. Additionally, when placed in an enclosure with 90-100% humidity, the display freezes and stops updating readings. After a long period of vigorous shaking, blowing out the vent and waiting, the device burst into life but clearly could not withstand the extreme humidity and moisture content in the air. So ultimately it depends on your usage and expectations…
