Review on Convenience Concepts American Heritage Round End Table in Light Gray Wirebrush: Sleek and Versatile Furniture Piece by Travis Riffey

Decent product, you just need to upgrade the hardware to make this desk great.

I don't write many reviews so like most people they tend to be a bit negative. That shouldn't put you off these tables as I believe this product could be great if they just changed a few things. Let's start with what was good. The packaging is great and very well thought out. Each part has been protected from damaging the other and very well thought out. The woodwork and painting has been well done with attention to detail that will be visible to the user. The instructions were decent enough and it's actually very easy to put together, probably not even requiring instructions. The problem we encountered with both tables was hardware. Among them were 4 inexpensive camlocks (see photo), which bent and broke immediately when used. I was lucky enough to have extra ones in my garage, but this immediately caused a problem. I didn't even turn them all the way before you heard them pop. They look like plastic but are made of metal. Just cheap metal. Another problem was that we couldn't get the table to stay level. The legs have nails on the rails that need to be adjusted to keep the table from rocking back and forth. Again both tables had this problem and we ended up adding some shims under one of the rails to even it out as we know where the table would be but that was also difficult to manage. So this is a really great product and could have gotten 4-5 stars if only they incorporated the adjustable slider and better cam locks. It's not a cheap table so for an extra $1-2 per table you could get something really good.
