Enhance Your Oculus Quest 2 Experience with KIWISMART Elite Strap: Premium Head Strap and Cushion Replacement Review

Not sure if all the other reviews are fake or if I got a bad one, but this thing is useless. The adjustment knob is very cheap and doesn't hold the strap. Even when tightening, the gears would slip and the belt would come loose. Haven't tried it in game yet. I go back and never give anything back. Back to the FB, even if it's too expensive and not very durable, at least it's portable.

Installation is very simple. The quality of the components is. But. You tighten everything with the handle on the back. It clicked into place, just as you hoped. You start training, do swing and swaga. And then you notice how it crawls up the back of your head. Or, sometimes in a game, lean in and POOF, the latches click and your headset is free again. it FREQUENTLY happens when you're irritable, but not so often that you think you've got a lemon. I tried the Oculus Elite Strap but I was afraid to buy it because I saw that many users broke the strap. The KiwiSmart Elite Strap was a much better value and considering the other Kiwi accessories I've bought for my Q1 and Q2, this strap will give me many hours of playtime. It fits my head perfectly. It's safe enough when I'm practicing with my head down or playing mini-golf and looking away, it never moves and my VR vision doesn't get distorted.

After my Elite Oculus brand strap broke I had no intention of putting the original fabric strap back on so I need to find a company that I can trust, that I trusted before, to get the tape through will still give me an "elite" feel. God, KIWI's design worked. As you can see from the photo, as soon as I took it out of the shipping box, I immediately subjected it to a torture test. I can safely say that I will have zero, repeat zero, worries of this strap snapping on me. Well done kiwi design!

Okay I originally bought the Elite strap with my Quest 2 and in fact it started tearing/breaking and was replaced by Oculus with what was supposed to be better. Made my Quest 2 MUCH more comfortable. I had a hard time snapping the little plastic clips into their slots to the point where I was concerned they would break. I saw a review that said they broke theirs and thought they just did something wrong, but now I understand how that would happen. I can't pull it off as mine didn't break. If you are looking for a replacement for your broken Oculus Elite headband, may I suggest this one from KIWI! I was a little skeptical that there is a tightening dial on the back as most reviews I've read of similar ones tend not to be great as they lose their tension and eventually loosen without you touch it.
