I ordered these to help reupholster a chair that I didn't want to completely disassemble. They arrived on time and worked well, plus I had plenty of money left over for other projects. I do electrical work on my service trailer, organize cables under my desk and much more. In my project I used 10 inch zip ties, two per spring, to hold the nine seat coil springs in compressed position on an antique Victorian armchair that was in need of a refurbishment. Compress the springs, stretch and fasten the straps, then use long wire cutters to reach and cut the zip ties and remove with needle nose pliers. I saved a lot of time tying them with yarn. So yes they are. I recommend them for their intended purpose and probably some that no one has yet come up with.
