This year I replaced 5 sets of bearings in a BB30 MTB bottom bracket made from FSA carbon crank. The camps lasted from a few trips to six weeks. These are the ones that have lasted six weeks with daily driving. I am planning to replace the entire BB30 bottom bracket and crankset next season due to the flawed design and also because I think the bearings are too deep inside which puts more stress on the bearings when pedaling and leads to failure. If you're tired of the crunch of burnt BB30 bearings, this will delay it by at least a month or so. These are great bearings, but unfortunately the overall design of the BB30 has fatal flaws. I have tried angular contact ball bearings, other ceramic bearings and enduro bearings. I've never had a problem with the relatively cheap outboard bearings on my FSA Afterburner crank. They're still spinning smoothly after two seasons.
