Review on πŸ›οΈ Clinically-Tested Clean Rest PRO Bed Bug Encasement Cover for Hotel King Mattresses by Cindy Moore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product just wish it was tighter around my 12 inch mattress

I'm severely allergic to dust mites so need something to cover all mattresses. Do not use a mattress topper if it only slides on top. I chose this one because the company says the pore size is only 1 micron, which is about as small as it gets. Less = better if you want to prevent dust mites from getting in (if your mattress is new) or getting somewhere where you can breathe them in (if your mattress is old and already has dust mites on it). Cloth than plastic and thicker bottom and sides because it's said to be waterproof. Haven't spilled any liquids on it yet, but I'll update this review if it turns out not to be truly waterproof. Had a problem with bed bugs, I've heard that once they invade your home, they're notoriously difficult to get rid of. So I loved that this product had the added benefit of protecting against bed bugs with a hardcore zippered cover. It's basically a plastic cover that snaps around the zipper tab when the zipper is closed, and the plastic tab clamps a small piece of soft mounting tape (the kind that looks like foam with sticky sides) to fill in any space between the plastic. cover and zipper teeth. Make sure the mounting strap is in the correct position before closing the plastic cover. Mine was a bit off center so I had to adjust it. I wish Clean Rest would do this for certain height mattresses so I can buy one that fits my 12 inch mattress a little tighter. However, I only need to see it when I change the sheets, so it doesn't bother me. Freedom also has an advantage: it is easy to put on. I have a Cal King bed so I bought a Cal King size and it fits my 12 inch size easily. high mattress. The sheet I use for my mattress is tight as hell, so when I make the bed I just lay the sheet down to stretch out any excess mattress cover fabric and tuck it under the mattress. I think unless your sheet is very thick you may need to fold the extra fabric under the mattress when making your bed.
