Got this to have on hand for my MacBook when giving presentations. It works just fine so far, though I've only had to use it once. I tested it with an HDMI monitor I have at home also and it worked fine. I actually got this one as a backup just in case. I am a bit over-prepared and probably paranoid only because people tend to freak out when they find out I have a Mac and need to connect to their projector for my presentation. So it is always good to have adapters on hand when presenting at events because you never know what type of connection the projector will have or if the venue will have adapters on hand for you use.
