I ordered 12 pairs of these socks and am happy with the price. They're made of polyester and have two mesh panels at the top so they breathe well and don't hold a lot of moisture. This makes them comfortable to walk on. I ran 11 miles as a pair today when the socks arrived and had no blisters or hot spots and the socks stayed in place, didn't slip. Polyester also means they don't absorb odors as much as cotton socks. In terms of fit, I wear US 10.5 in dress shoes and US 11 in sneakers. The fit suits me, not loose, not tight, comfortable. I love that you get 6 pairs of the same color. I hate combining socks that came out of the dryer. I threw all my other running socks in the trash. Now I have 12 pairs of running socks and two of them make a pair. When I rummage through my desk drawer in the dark at 6 a.m. looking for black socks, any two socks make a pair. You can't beat the value. 6 pairs for $14 is great. I've had good polyester running socks before so expect them to hold up well. If I can get 6-12 months out of a dozen pairs for $28 I won't complain. years from the first ten. They held on well by running 2 days a week, going to the gym twice a week, and wearing regular summer clothes. At least some of them still looked pretty good. But for the price I think if I get a year I'll be happy. Three years is great.
