Here's the deal on this ink, what I received wasn't sealed but came with a plug. So who knows what was really there. As far as I know, it could have been black help. He definitely had consistency. My other sumi ink is much thicker than the 4oz bottle I received. I'm talking about liquid, as soon as you invert the bottle it pours out very quickly. How can you call it a sterile product if it is not sealed and no matter what anyone does. It works out? Well, you can melt chess pieces and make them work, but we're not trying to do that and that's why we're here on an authoritative site.
