Review on 12x12 Square Wood Picture Frame, Matted to Fit 8x8 or 12x12 Photos Without Mat, Black by Kimberly Thomas

I received my frame a few days ago and used it for a picture frame. The wood composite frame is very durable. The rug is simple but serves its purpose. The hanger is very well designed, making it easy to hang the picture on the wall. The design makes it easy to remove images, meaning I can rotate prints while keeping my wall display fresh. I photograph a lot of birds and this was exactly the product I wanted to buy. I plan to order larger than this size as well as a few other sizes so I can create a photo wall. I will also see if they have one of these for desktop use as I have a mantel that is begging for something new. I wish there was an option to get museum quality glass; The glass included in the frame does not offer UV protection. If you are worried about your artwork fading, be sure to hang it in a place that will not be exposed to direct sunlight. And while I'm making a wish list, I'd like a white mount with a black core - it would give the framed print a little more polish. There isn't enough room for a double mat, so a white mat/black core option would be nice. When ordering, remember that the actual overall frame size is 13 x 13; The frame itself is 1/2" wide leaving a 12x12 opening. The actual size of the hole in the mat is 7.5 x 7.5 which is what you need to display an 8" x 8" print - the prints must be adjusted with the knowledge that 1/4" of each side will not be visible. This is the standard, but I noticed from the comments that not everyone understands it. I am very satisfied with this frame and recommend it.
