Bose vs Jaybird - fight!

I've tried various inexpensive wireless in-ear headphones over the past few years and have never found a pair that outperforms my good old wired headphones. Well, I recently had a chance to try out the Bose and Jaybird wireless earbuds. Both are similar in price, have nice packaging, and similar features. Here are the results. SOUND - Bose: 10 out of 10. Absolutely amazing sound quality. Simply the best I've ever heard, at any cost, wired or wireless, period. - Jaybird: 8 out of 10. Tight sound, good for podcasts or casual listening to music. The low-frequency response is a far cry from Bose, but you can get close with some equalizer settings on your device. Competing with most other good headphones I've tried. FIT-Bose: 7 out of 10. Surprisingly good fit considering how HUGE the headphones are. Seriously, these things are big. They seem to house the battery and the electronics that power them (because they're wireless). But for their size, they fit perfectly with the included inner ear tips (multiple sizes included) - Jaybird: 9 out of 10. Great fit. Tiny compared to a Bose product. They also include a variety of in-ear and in-ear sizing options, keeping them in place and comfortable even after hours of continuous use while running. FEATURES - Bose: 9 out of 10 points. The charging port is located directly in one of the earbuds. what works fine. You can download the Bose app and amazingly even read your heart rate from your wrists! This is a fun and useful feature for different types of workouts. - Jaybird: 7 out of 10. Has a separate small "mini" docking station needed for charging. You can download an app for the device to adjust the sound and perform a few other "minor" functions, but I uninstalled the app and only connected via bluetooth. So, do I have a favourite? For everyday exercise I prefer the Jaybird mostly because I prefer the fit and I just don't care about the gargantuan size of the Bose buds. But for traveling or listening to music when I'm not active, Bose wins with superior sound. In summary we can say that Bose is a great product - I can only recommend it!
