After a month of brief use (this was only in my office), the bottom of the humidifier where the water is located has cracked and become unusable; the water came out immediately. It also stopped spraying and never caught fire. I didn't even know the backlight was a feature until one day it accidentally lit up - I was never able to reproduce it. I liked it for the first month, but I would buy a more sustainable product in the future.
